If you wanna really get into it.. ok yeah all 52 players are part of the teams identity... is that really what were arguing?

He said that Wilson was as much as responsible for the team's idenity as sherman or Marshawn Lynch... THAT statement is completely untrue... and deserves to be discredited.

So if you take my words literally... ok yeah definitely im wrong... obviously every player makes up a teams identity...

But my point is that russell is not as much of the teams identity as sherman or lynch.

ALL of that said... as the quarterback hes still likely the MOST valuable and important player on the team... so thats what matters more... he should get paid...

But if were talkign about team identity (which is really a stupid thing for us to be arguing this much lol)... nah he is not equal to the LOB or lynch for this seahawks squad.
He is tho but we'll just agree to disagree :yeshrug:

No Russell = no Super Bowl same with beast mode and LOB. Look at the actions/production on the field and not loud/promotion talk:yeshrug:

And you know what's funny about people downing Russell? He is still only in his 3rd year. Folks acting like he's Matt Ryan status 7th year throwing to hof tight ends, at the time two top 10 wideouts with a 1000 yard rusher and still can't get to a superbowl

Its troubling to me that so many of u think u can just plug any QB in the Seahawks offensive system and they will still be SB bound 2 years ina row :patrice:
they don't watch seattle man. And if so its confirmation bias that had them silent until last week and then silent AGAIN 5 minutes later.

:what: so russell didn't throw the game winning touchdown pass? It's a damn playoff game its not easy. It is much easier to make a mistake as a quarterback than a running back. Lynch is an amazing running back, one of the greats but stop tryna belittle what Russell did

Russell wouldn't have had to throw a game winning touchdown pass had he not thrown 4 int's...

It's like people want to give Baby Hair all of this credit for digging himself out of a hole that he dug for himself...

The defense played exceptional from start to finish...

Marshawn played exceptional from start to finish...

I mean seriously...going into the 3rd quarter Russel Wilson's leading receiver was...Clinton Dix...

The line of thinking comes from the fact that Seattle has

A very good defense

A very good running game

When you have both of those things then yeah it is very easy for a QB to be successful...

Or are you telling me that Seattle offense doesn't work without baby hair leading QB's in rushing?

Or are you telling me Baby Hair is the only QB in the league who can throw against one on one coverage with a single high safety due to everyone stacking the line against the run?

first of all i'm not going to get into a legit sports discussion with someone calling another man 'baby hair'

secondly,

You don't watch the seahawks on a weekly basis to believe that this is why Russell is a quality qb, especially since you didn't recognize his accuraccy and decision making this year until last week which was honestly a one off.

so,

i will not reply if you continue to use nicknames like this is 2002 sohh or something. be a man

What? Taking off running without going through all your reads is "decision making?"

Accuracy? Uh...Russ isn't in the top 10 for completion %...top 15...is he even in the top 20?

Actually he is...he's...20th...

Which is hilariously low if you take into consideration all the screen passes Seattle runs...

Your right...when your arguing with someone who is trying to tell you that a QB is "quality" and give said QB any credit for winning a game in which he threw 4 int's, there is no point in having a legit sports discussion...

And the one off wasn't his accuracy or decision making...the one off was him not getting a short field...

He did not get a short field in the 1st half of the packers game due to all the turnovers...what were his numbers in that half?

He did get a short field in the second half...what were his numbers in that half...

Baby Hair's offense begins and ends with starting field position...

Is he starting from the 25 or deeper? Outside of a long pass forget it that drive ends in a punt...not good enough to string together 75 yard drives on a consistent basis outside of getting it to marshawn 80% of the time...but they are trying to run him out of their for whatever reason so thats not going to happen...

Is he starting from the 35 or better? Your in trouble because after to Lynch runs and a Baby hair scramble they are already at the other teams 40 and are at least putting themselves in position to kick a field goal

It's amazing how I have listened to people herald QBs that had complete squads around them and weren't asked to carry the team as winners for years and now all of a sudden the rules have changed for Russell :what:. I dare somebody to name me the QBs that have had won multiple rings without thorough all-around squads. Now if dude was out there putting up 300/100 on the reg and missing the playoffs or getting bounced early it would be "Yeah he puts up great numbers but he's not a winner though" :rudy:. He played like shyt for 3.5 quarters on Sunday and most definitely should thank that defense and Marshawn for still being in the game but he still made the plays that were needed to complete the comeback. Many a QB with a great defense and running game has been down 2 scores with 5 minutes left and lost. I am :mindblown: at how cats refuse to give this guy his props. nikkas stay talking about how black QBs get done dirty and couldn't wait to crown Vick for putting up numbers that make Russ look like Manning but now that we got a black QB in position to do some unprecedented shyt nikkas have turned into Rush Limbaugh.
