You could say that about a lot of Pacs production as it ranged from mediocre to subpar to awesome as he didn't give a what in that respect as it was just about laying the track. MATW has some of the best beats in that sense but even Makaveli proves he could take something basic as hell and make it super dope.

I do wonder what we'd have heard if he was here during the Justice League area of lavish production and aural symphonies over which to tell tales of felonies though.

It is amazing how one artist can turn an average beat to heat and the other can do the flip due to the rhymes they kick. Voice is such a huge component and no one can come close to Pac when it comes to conveying emotion. That is what sets him apart as an MC.

Something something Hennessy and Enemies.

I knew one of them BlackJack cats sohh I used to play their sh*t, 2 albums IIRC....they were from EPA...

Always been a favorite of mine, on a really personal level, because of my high school memories, with All Eyez On Me, which we played like it was 1996, even though it was years later.

It's also a really dark and eerie song, like a lot of Pac's angriest work, not the socially angry songs, but the ones where you can see and hear him drowning in the life that would eventually consume, the paranoia, the gang shyt, the shootings, the murkiness of loyalty.

but, I love it, I just don't listen to it a lot. I remember running it back so many times in my boys Civic, that had the lowered kit and sound system

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned
A cemetery full of mfkas not knowing :wow:

One the best things about Pac was how he just casually kicked game in his raps and how pretty much everything he said was based on experience as his moods, views and grooves on wax synced up perfect with his life in the moment.

2Pacalypse Now was "I'm trying to find my lane in the rap game".

Strictly 4 My Nz screamed "Did you know I hate the police? By the way F the police".

Thug Life intoned "I'm on on now so here are my friends, they deserve some attention and dividends so I'll use my name to shine a light on em".

Me Against The World relayed "I didn't know the price of fame was so expensive. The walls are closing in and the drugs aren't working. Send help".

All Eyez On Me said "Its a celebration bishes! Look at me and my riches, come party with me and brings friends. You're all welcome".

Makaveli growled "I'm alone. Its dark. I've just realized the price of this path and can see the end of the map but have to keep on steppin".

People can say what they want but there has never been an artist so authentic even though he was a walking contradiction. Thats why people worldwide still spin his discs because the truth is timeless and he said it so direct that you felt it in your chest.

@WaveGang:

Nanci Fletcher was on loads of Pacs songs like Don't Stop The Music, Who Do You Believe In, Unconditional Love and a few more. Such a dope voice and her runs were smooth as silk.

I seent I nyukka a long time ago once say Pac was a soundtrack to life. Made perfect sense. That's how I view it.

This was t what made me a fan/piqued my interest outside the rhymes. It’s a lot of folks that can relate to this. A lot of folks that’s doing wrong but actually we’re taught right and no right… but just can’t seem to travel in one lane.

Spoke to a lot of us caught up in ignorance and seeking wisdom whilst striving to get ahead but finding a boot on our necks.
