Sinners Road is ridiculous

The actual climb not that long honestly. The Sands of Karak was harder to me, I mastered the needle hook thing off of that. How long did it take you to get to the peak? That first ice river part had me ready to throw the controller lol
I've heard this game was meant to be dlc for the first game and it feels like it difficulty wise.so for a breh who just works a long day and just want a pick me up game no stress etc. this ain't it right?
There's alot that people are overstating the difficulty of, like the moorwing and sister splinter bosses. Finally got the double jump. Some of ya'll seemed to have overstated the difficulty in getting to it.
I'll probably finish the first game this week (had a real cool time with it). Hopped into this thread to see reaction and I've been kinda shocked at how much complaining there is.
So this is basically a way more frustrating version of the first game?
Might wait a while on it if that's the case. Was gonna get GOT next anyways![]()
I wouldn't hang my hat on the difficulty of this game since 9 times out of 10, you don't get a godamn thing for overcoming a challenge
shyt's not even hard, it's just annoying. 95% of enemies are flight-based because they know you have limited mobility and options in the air. Most bosses have to fly and have minions distracting you because they have 3 attacks at the absolute max.
Honeymoon period is over and people are slowly but surely getting off this game's dikk.![]()
The only annoyance that any of ya'll said that I feel has any real weight of merit to it is how the currency of the tools work. That gets that much more annoying that when fighting bosses, the minions don't drop any currency at all, not even that and that you can't refill your tools outside of on benches and only when you have that shards to do so. That and that they take quite a bit, if you die constantly during boss fights or gauntlets, you will be short of them really quickly.Exactly, game isn’t “hard” per se, it just had a ton of annoying little design quirks that make a lot of sections more tedious than fulfilling.
Id say stuff like elden ring or lies of p was harder but didn’t feel as frustrating.
This game just needed more play testing. People don’t realize how much HK changed since release
Like it’s been said, it’s stilll a good game but it has rough edges that the original fixed through updates
Even that gets mitigated with upgrading your needle and or doing like the charge attack. But yeah, enemies can be spongy. Sometimes it's actually a good thing when you need them for additional platforming, so they don't do the first couple of times you bounce on them and you miss your opportunity to use them to go higher. The only “annoying” thing for me is the amount of hits it takes to kill stuff.
some of these grunts should be 1-2 hits, the larger enemies 4-6
Honestly the only real complaint I've experienced is that bosses tend to fill the screen with enough bullshyt that you cant even tell what's happening, basically turns most boss fights into an endurance test. All the other complaints, like level design/platforming segments, teleports, enemy design, benches-to-rosarie costs, etc., sounds more git gud status that being that egregious to me.
