said it in the other thread. he's a singles rapper and didn't have a strong single. its the label's fault for not pushing the lp back or pushing his next single to press.

...unless they just wanted to push him out the door. :scheme:

his career is dead, and he aint even know it.

Dont these niqqas understand that when you appeal to the lowest common denominator of fan, while you may experience a wave of commercial success, you are appealing to the most fickle base of all. The artist is just a faceless entity whose popularity appeals to the fickle fan at a given time, but once somebody new comes along that artist is a wrap overnight. Future has already assumed 2 chainz "fan base", and once future falls off there will be a new niqqa for industry and brain dead groupie fans to dyck ride.

Tpain was the biggest artist in the world a few years ago. Now the niqqa couldnt sell out a concert at a barnes n noble. What happened to huge "stars" like soulja, waka, gucci, etc? Say what you want about a group like the roots, but because of their actual music, and not some superficial appeal, they have a loyal fan base that will go to their shows, buy their records, and they have the respect from industry types far and wide. The mainstream game in hip hop is fcked right now. Travel at your own risk.
realest shyt you ever wrote

Sounds like people didn't like the last album enough to cop a second, and that he hasn't built a fanbase. There's a difference between being hot and having fans. You can stop being hot any minute, whereas if you got loyal fans they're gonna follow you until the end (or until you fall the fukk off)

real talk,....
I may not make it through this record.
cot dammit,....this nikka and everyone on this record is so offkey, rhymewise.

I liked the intro with him and his moms,...
then the next record never really approached the level of how much fun that classic luda wom style interlude was.
the biggest issue with this record so far, is...
for 2chains to be have been in luda camp and be this offkey is why this could not result in sales.
as real talk,....
luda is so sound technically.
that it makes no sense for an offshoot.
regardless, if they are not affiliated.
2chains should be better and should have ramped up.

also,..if defjam did undership this record.
that is part of their weird practice they do when they run the kiss record release schedule.
I personally feel they do it to get a real guage on their investment.
so, the next time....
they know exactly what to do to get a realistic return.
which is really based on the actual artist's skill and quality of work.

the female fergie = drake was godawful on this shyt.
lil weak nikka,..you can't do that on television, or degrassi junior high.
I guess this nikka not getting better performances out of his gw.

jesus,...this nikka 2chains is so fukkin offkey........
he really needs to put extra attention to his technical skills.
if he does not,..his draw will deteriorate to nuffin.
simply because the listeners who invested in listening to him attention span can not be held.
when, he does not close out bars with sound rhyming and actual dope rhymes.

duke spitting on some whatever shyt,..like he went in the studio got the appearance fee and worked to fast, and mailed in an effort.

right now,....
there have been no real standout records, and I am in the mood to just give him a pass on some whateverl shyt, and look past some of the bullshyt...
except,..this shyt is nowhere near dope like that to look past the shortcomings.

Yup. I think 2Chainz thought he was some cultural phenom, and to be fair he did have a HUGE two year run. But there's always someone waiting in the wings to take your spot when you just appeal to fickle fans.

People treat rap music like fast food. It's disposable entertainment. And unless you build a fanbase you ain't shyt.

at least,...
2 chains actually brought t-pain back on so we can live.
that is an actual good record.
where it breaks down in an rnb collab context about why you got to serve.
like, a rnb version of the content on doin my job.
just nowhere near what ti did..........
yet, and still a good song for radio..
that should have been his single..

mainstream rachet is probably the new birthday type single for him.

chrissette michelle comes in and gives a spoken word/wannabe rap verse sckraight out the 3k playbook.
then, 2chains tries to give a based on a true story type biopic, and is so offkey I can't ignore it....
oh he blew it on that, one....big time!
rich homie quan,..blew it on his feature, on extra.
sckraight exposal, for the rich homie....
he really nuffin past a melody based rhyme, and is not nasty at all on the breaks, whatsoever.
I knew that but I was hoping on a feature he could probably raise skill,...
I know better, and got what I knew I would get from him.

overall this was so disappointing, and was nuffin more than one of those defjam mail in releases.

no noteworthy skill submissions,..just blatant tries at club and commercial songs.
with no real lyrics to keep your attention.

severely avoid......thumbs way down, to the point I am flirting with re-instituting the scott keith hot poker rating system.
