Honest question how can Nas be the goat if he's trash live?

Ive seen dude live 3 times in '06, '14, and '17. Just recently saw Nas and Lauryn Hill on tour it was

Dude can't even finish a bar. Says half a line then points the mic at the crowd he did that the whole show. I get satisfaction out of hearin a rapper finish a bar and put emphasis on the last words I ain't get none of that from Nasir. Jay, Em, pac and big when they were alive all sound crisp but nas is status. So I'll say it again how can he be goat? Look at the goats from of all genres they still rock a crowd

I've seen him live about 7 or 6 times and he's pretty dope live. Green Lantern helps with the blends too.
Him passing the mic to the crowd is some regular stuff.

Every single time I have seen a clip of him live he was terrible, lol. I'm a Nas stan, but you're right about his live show. Early in his career he was dope on stage, I remember reading on here that Jaz-O said him and Jay-z were watching Nas perform back then and they both agreed that he was the one. Maybe it's the decades of weed, no cardio, etc... I don't know, but I cringe when watching him live, at this point I actually go out of my way to avoid it. Still the GOAT, imo

I saw him live in 2003 and 2010, and I heard a lot of talk about how he wasn't dope live, but he killed it in 2003. I was very surprised. In 2010 he wasn't quite as sharp and the breath control wasn't as good, but in 2003 he was very good when I saw him.

I've seen him a handful of times, and there was typically about a 40% chance that it would be not so great.

However, when Nas is on fire, woww. He has the ability to be an incredible live performer, but chooses not to most of the time
