:leon: the 2014 draft gonna be something fierce

Yeah, he's listed at 6"7 now too, if I'm a bad team I'm getting ready to tank right now.

Kid's game is really impressive, that doesn't look like the typical Euro to me, especially not someone that just turned 18 last month.

That doesn't explain the mobility difference in wing players though, like Alexey Shved, Evan Fournier and Nando De Colo all have better footwork and agility than pretty much all the American white wing players in the league that are around the same height.

And while Manu is from Argentina, he did develop in the Euro league, and looking at his gigantic nose he's clearly Italian descent. Plus, he grew up with soccer, I'm starting to think that soccer might be the underused key to being great at basketball.

May be on to something here :ohhh: steve nash also played soccer his entire life and well we all know what kind of career/numbers/impact he's had.

His strengths and weaknesses make it sound like he's really not fit for the Euro game -

Strengths:

-Good size for a wing
-Strong frame
-Good athlete. Nice quickness and explosiveness
-Solid shooter with feet set or off the dribble
-Can make tough shots with a hand in his face
-Solid ball-handler. Knows how to score in isolation settings. Crafty footwork getting into paint. Finishes elegantly around the rim with high-angled layups, or with power over opponents
-Sees the floor. Can pass a bit when he wants to
-Athleticism, strength allows him to rebound at a high rate, block shots occasionally
-Terrific scoring instincts and all-around feel for the game

Weaknesses:
-Intangibles are questionable. Displays poor body language. Aloof around teammates. Complains constantly to referees, teammates, coaches
-Doesn't give great effort on defense
-Offensive game very isolation-heavy. Can be a ball-stopper. Overdribbles. Takes bad shots. Freezes out teammates.
-Only plays at one speed. Could still improve on changing speeds, using hesitation moves creating shots in the half-court

Isolation ball, bad attitude, freezes teammates out

There's a clear difference in the movements of the Euros and Americans, there's more fluidity. It makes sense, cause if you can dribble with your feet and get around a soccer pitch, then being coordinated shouldn't be an issue and transitioning to dribbling a basketball should be easy.

Mitchell looks to have a nice handle and decent game but he is listed as a forward so I think him playing point is out the window. Maybe a little point forward at times but hes pretty much gonna be a 2/3 like Hayward. While he may not be a star with that size and his passing skills he definitely has a future in the game.

You're wrong. When it comes to white you gotta think what American cacs consider white.

The only player in the NBA mentioned so far that falls into that category is Kevin Love.

Rubio aint fukking white. He's white hispanic but not white american. Put Rubio in a small Texas town and those rednecks would call him a beaner. Stop it. White dudes don't consider Mark Sanchez white, and he was born here.

Dirk is fukking German and has a black wife. There's a reason white america never got behind him. Nash is close but he's Canadian. so that doesn't count either.

There'd need to be a white player who was born here and came from a white area for America to embrace him.

Larry Bird was :blessed: for white america.

This post is so ignorant :russ: Mexicans/Spaniards/Arabs = white.

I always wondered why Kirk Hinrich never took the torch from Nash. I just knew he would. He seem to really be on his way the year his bulls eliminated Miami, but then i dont know hat happened.
