How is it ignorance? Do people have to go out seeking music outside of what they like? In a world that's extremely segmented, if you're not listening to a top 40 stations, it's easy to not know all these other ppl. No one says that when someone doesn't know a hip hop or r&b artists, GTFOH. This ain't the 90"s when there were fewer outlets that played a broader range of music, some ppl don't have time to go scouring the internt looking for videos, artists, and songs from genres they have no interest in
