it is plausible that Lebron is purposefully not taking these bums to the finals in order to protect his legacy.
Sure he is gonna get his 40, but he not gonna overexert himself because losing in 4/5 games despite his stats is gonna provide support for his move to the sixers.

He needs to take Kobe's advice and take the C's into the low block and put Brown/Tatum in foul trouble. Or atleast do it in isolation. Those heat check 3's are cool and all but they aren't putting REAL pressure on the Celtics defense because they want him to take those 3's.
