So,

we have a re-shuffle, re-tool, re-build... whatever you want to call it as Michael Winger and Will Dawkins say. A new era in DC with a new front office with guys from better team building situations than the disaster of Ernie Grunfeld/Tommy Sheppard of the last two decades.

Bradley Beal is gone. Kristaps Porzingis is gone. Kyle Kuzma remains on a team friendly deal.

The young guys that Tommy drafted... Kispert, Avdija, Davis all return for now. Daniel Gafford is the unquestioned starter at C but it probably is the worst C rotation in the NBA.

A 25-30 win season is in the cards but how much does 7th overall pick Bilal Coulibaly play?? In two years he is probably the one guy on this roster who'll be around.

Right now, the roster has 17 players with guaranteed salaries. A trade or cuts of two guys is inevitable. A lot of veterans and young guys from the previous regime.



Dawkins and Winger have the roster just above the salary cap but well below the luxury tax. Huge cap space next summer. No bad contracts on the books.

Wes is still HC. But he has a better coaching staff around him.

Bilal does look like he has a natural feel for the game but who the hell were they playing

I can't remember which teammate said this. Maybe Johnny Davis but he said Bilals gonna step in and be one of the top defenders in the nba. This is while he's the third Youngest in the league. Then during summer league someone maybe drew Gooden said If you watch Bilal you can see how fundamental he is.
Firstly as a shot blocker I think he can be the top shot blocker among wings. His handle...he can dribble and pass with both hands, he can rebound well. Shoot a comfortable jumper off the catch. Gets to the paint at will.



IF he worked out with someone like Gil he'd be phenomenal. It's obvious we got someone who at minimum will be like a bigger mikael bridges or Khris middleton

Bilal looks like he's already got lockdown/elite defender potential and seems to see the floor pretty well, too. If he can eventually develop any kind of offensive game...yeah, we just might have something here.

Kuz and Poole getting paid tons of money to jack up shots, not give a fukk about getting a w, then go pound out them bad ass Eritreans that be all over DC

When you in your mid 20's it don't get no better than that

Some of them work at my job and got season tickets...going to be looking for them right behind the bench tuesdays and checking slack to see if they out sick wednesdays

I’m fine with it

Less turnovers letting Tyus Jones run point and initiating offense. Wes Unseld Jr. hates turnovers.

Poole can run off screens and attack or pull up.

When Jones sits, you’ll see Poole at the 1
