Those are the only publishers that have released 70 dollar games sofar.
And even if Microsoft did choose to go that route later... There are always cheaper alternatives

If MS is smart, they will capitalize off the cross gen mishaps and show some real next gen games. Even if they are on PC, any game exclusive to the XSX counts IMO. They need to show gameplay that couldn't be done on previous consoles at E3 or at least promise more XSX exclusives (even if they are on PC) that will take advantage of the hardware and show them off even if they are late 2022/2023+. I assume Sony has a couple of other big titles they haven't announced yet up their sleeves to quiet down the press though.Why would we be? Microsoft didn't lie to us about this. It is ultimately disappointing that Forza Horizon 5 is likely built with the Xbox One as we will hopefully learn next week if it is shown but this. Conversely, when Gran Turismo 7 was announced it was announced as a PS5 exclusive.
They boasted about generations in tons of news articles, basking in the glow of the good press that was generated but when it's time to show your hand, it was done in a blog Q&A which is the equivalent of the Friday news dump at 7pm. So, not only did they lie, their actions were cowardly on top of it. It makes perfect sense to have GT7 on the PS4. They should have said it from the get go.

I'd gladly pay 20 a month for 4 months for the game I want with the option of hundreds of more compared to once time for 70 plus with the option of paid dlc and upgrades

I mean if the developers make the PS5 the priority console then just tone it down for the PS4, what's the problem?

The game will still be limited even if this was the case. Can't go beyond what the ps4 can handle.

if a game really takes advantage of the PS5's features (specifically the CPU and SSD), it would be pretty much impossible to "just tone it down for the PS4"
