Reminds me of the Documentary called Sicko, where there was footage of this confused old lady being dismissed from the hospital, and she was wandering in various directions lost and disturbed.

Illinois, Maryland, California, and New York are better funded - locally, state wise, but it happens there too.
And it happens there because of consequences of the 1980's Republicans, AND the complicit Neoliberal Democrats who embraced the market as a way to do work meant for the government.
