Both great heirs,but 2pac was rightfully king in their era and shytted on them both.
And you could argue neither Nas or Jay ever were the guy in hiphop.
Guys like Mase and DMX who were Biggie and 2pac light,managed to eclipse them in popularity while Jay and Nas had a big head start.

He is right about Ether and Takeover though. But who knows,the fact Jay became what he became may be the reason people are seeing Ether differently.

01-05 really the only time he was ever on top anytime after that he was considered more of a big bro/legacy artist / mogul and I'm a Jay fan but I gotta keep it real.
