This! So much this! Somehow people have convinced themselves that being poor and working class isn't an identity the same as being a woman, or black etc. Somehow the term identity politics over this last cycle only applies if you're talking about women's or LBGTQ issues.

They needed to feel something and forgot Trump and Co. never gave a fukk bout em....

Fukk their health care crisis, their heroin problems and them as a muthafukkin crew...if you down with em fukk u 2.

It's fukkin unreal now. If I'm a Democrat (and they suck too) I'd be on capital hill right now like.....:umad: don't ask me for shyt....no amendments or lifeline.

I would literally be......

Trump doesn't give a shyt about policy. He hasn't even read the bill. The only thing Trump cares about is passing something, anything, so he can claim he kept his promise to repeal and replace Obama Care.

He doesn't care how it affects real people or other Republicans for that matter. Nor does he have the intelligence to understand how it's going to damage his administration's credibility going forward and his reelection in 2020. He did the same thing with the Executive orders.

He really thinks he can run game on the rest of the country like he does his die hard supporters.

It's fukking hilarious how shallow and shortsighted he is when it comes to simple politics.

It's funny because at the core most coli members preach identity politics (if it isn't helping black folks then it's worthless and we should only work to improve black lives), but one of the largest complaints they had about this last election was the democrats focus on identity politics. Certainly identity politics wasn't the issue, it was probably more of the intersectionality of that turned coli posters away. That is to say, I want to focus on black/minority issues but don't include Gays, feminist, Mexicans, Cubans in my plight or I'm unhappy.

This post isn't doing it enough justice and if I have time I'll probably look into it at length and try to pull at least some data.

But before I get off on a tangent, I agree at its extremes it's bad and I am willing to suggest that we are near those extremes and now we can see the majority are going to suffer more because of it.

(I'll stop after this comment - don't want to highjack the thread.)

Exactly - most coli members do preach a specific form of identity politics. I suppose I do too, but I'd rather not to the detriment of others. Also, I'd use it to eventually end conventional identity politics after certain historical issues have been mostly dealt with. To me, it actually makes sense that we shouldn't have the same kind of identity politics 100 years from now. It should evolve - hopefully for the betterment of people involved.

Of course, I don't have much faith in people right now considering our current path.

As much as I criticize the psuedo militants on here most coli members from what I can gather are pretty level headed people...even the folks I had beefs with on here..... If this was even close to what's on st0rmfr0nt or other related sites no way I would be here.

Dissing Muslims, Mexicans, openly boasting about grabbing women's genital area and engaging in blatant white racial politics while expecting us to not be disgusted is disingenuous.....these same folks laugh at Treyvon, Mike Brown's, Akhai Gurley, Tamir Rice, Eric Garner dead bodies.....fukk em.

A lot of these people refuse to acknowledge your humanity even when we are executed on YouTube for the world to see. They can kiss my ass. I hope they lose their food stamps, Medicaid and anything else....cause they damn sure don't give a shyt about you.

These same people who watch the NCAA tournament will call u a ni88er...think about it.

The Dems would need to win 24 seats to get a majority

Tough with the gerry meandering

They gained 6 seats in 2016

Trump's trying to run Government like he runs the Trump organization.

So much fukkery and we are not even 100 days in.

With the investigations coming, wouldnt surprise me if Trump pulled a Sarah Palin and just said fukk it and blamed it on the media and crooked politicians.

:mjlol:

How you gonna ROFL with a hollow back?
Trump just wants a win, and to be loved like Barry. I'm sure if he called Barry, even now, and said "I want to rename ACA 'Trumpcare' ", Barry would say ok. That's all ne wants, something perceived as positive named after him
