Looking at what they want to get rid of, what in the blue hell would be the point of insurance if it doesn't cover shyt?

:gucci: That's the point.

Republicans don't believe in healthcare, they are stuck with it because they had been saying "repeal, replace" and Trump was trying to one up Obama. That's why it's such a mess. Even though they have terrible ideas, they tend to execute them well because they actually believe in them.

Edit: Beaten. Twice.

What's a good bill?
One that provides healthcare for all as Trump alluded, that Builds on the flaws of ACA, doesn't allow states to elect to not cover their citizens in need, appropriate funds to cover said expansion, and negotiate drug priced federally and not at a company by company, state by state scenario that leaves the consumers taking the brunt.

Healthcare is a right for citizens and any good bill will treat it as such.

They've already stopped enforcement of the mandate and everything they're doing is to kill ACA.

Here is the shrewd calculation they're making. Introduce unrealistic bills that either die in the house or rejected with no votes from Democrats in the senate. While all this fukk shyt is happening, this causes insurers who need to adjust rates soon for the upcoming enrollment season in the fall to be weary so they will either rise prices due to the uncertainty of the environment and/or even more insurers bail from the market place or refuse to participate.

Republicans can give a shyt about care. With this in mind, this is a win win scenario from their perspective.

Either pass an unpassable bill in the house, fails in the senate, ACA effectively dies due to removing mechanisms that support it and then say "HA Told you that ACA was an awful plan! look at it!"

Or it fails in the house, ACA still dies due to the previous mentioned removing of supporting mechanisms and they say "HA told you that ACA was an awful plan! Look at it!"

There was a time I was naive and would believe the voting public was rational actors. But now I realize that they have the attention and memory of a gnat and with the right propaganda, the above tactics will be bought hook, line, and sinker by a large segment of the voting population. Especially their base.

Most voters especially in these rural cac towns are uneducated so I agree that if that was Trump's plan it is something that would definitely fool his base but that said there is a severe lack of confidence in Trump right now even with those who did vote for him and his approval numbers are the worst ever. I'm hoping this is all setting up for a gigantic L in 2018 but we'll see.. I never discount how stupid most of these cacs are.

I think the plan was to always rush through some fukkery and hide it behind early presidency good will for Trump.......
:sas1:
Who could of guessed he would blow through that in less than 4 months ......
:sas2:
besides people who actually paid attention to him
:mjlol:

That shyt is DOA. For it to get through House it would be way to extreme for the moderate Republican Senators to pass. They actually have enough Dems in their jurisdiction to kick them out and tend to be smarter and can see the fukkery for what it is

I honestly think the deeper goal was to pass this bullshyt before the Easter recess...cause when they go back to their districts all hell is gonna break lose....the negativity surrounding this dumpster fire is epic.

When premiums spiked...what these dodo's failed to realize is yes....health care is expensive but most importantly...people were locked out of health care for most of their lives and bam....when they got it they USED A LOT OF IT FOR LONG IGNORED MEDICAL PROBLEMS. It will take at least 5+ years for a level of costs coming in line.

Mammograms, scrips, physicals, surgery etc. Locking them back out will literally bankrupt the entire medical field. You think they bytched about Obamacare....wait till they see the old system. Adam Smith's magical hand of the free market doesn't make them magically go away or cure cancer...insurance does ( or helps)....this was a Phyrric victory.

The Republicans don't actually believe in providing health insurance to people without money. They believe that all of these things are moral failings and we should not "punish" the wealthy by making them pay for these things.
That's it.

Republicans feel like if you are poor it's YOUR fault. They believe every man in this country has a fair shake..

They on some Joe the Plumber 2008 John McCain shyt

They're like slavery happened over 400 years ago you people need to get that chip off your shoulder and stop waiting for handouts..

Look at Clarence Thomas. He made it why can't you guys do it too?

I'm a firm believer in self reliance but health care is not an avenue where people should be locked out base on economic status. This is fukked up. You don't want single payer or universal cool....make it all private ala Japan or Switzerland or like the exchanges now....make those who are disabled or destitute pay $0 and those who can pay $10...$20 or what the fukk ever ( which ironically Mike Pence did in Indiana..HIP 2.0)...but don't say nikkas don't need fukking health insurance....that's bullshyt.

They don't believe it's the government job to pay for people's health care.
