Not sure if someone mentioned this but if/when the millions of poor Trump voters lose their healthcare and get screwed over, they won't suddenly wake up and blame Trump or the republicans. Even if they're directly impacted.

They will continue to blame the Dems and the liberals, the Jews and the gays, the blacks and the Mexicans, everyone except the people who actually threw them under the bus. That's what they've been trained to do.

Tens of millions of people voted for a pathological liar but a lot of us (myself included sometimes) keep analyzing their actions through our own logical POV. It doesn't make sense to a lot of us that so many poor people would go directly against their best interests and vote for Trump. They've been trained for years to vote based on fear and hate, not compassion or reason.

It's hard to have a logical discussion with hate.

I always think of this quote...it's spot on

Bruce Wayne: [while in the underground bat cave] Targeting me won't get their money back. I knew the mob wouldn't go down without a fight, but this is different. They crossed the line.
Alfred Pennyworth: You crossed the line first, sir. You squeezed them, you hammered them to the point of desperation. And in their desperation, they turned to a man they didn't fully understand.
Bruce Wayne: Criminals aren't complicated, Alfred. Just have to figure out what he's after.
Alfred Pennyworth: With respect Master Wayne, perhaps this is a man that *you* don't fully understand, either. A long time ago, I was in Burma. My friends and I were working for the local government. They were trying to buy the loyalty of tribal leaders by bribing them with precious stones. But their caravans were being raided in a forest north of Rangoon by a bandit. So, we went looking for the stones. But in six months, we never met anybody who traded with him. One day, I saw a child playing with a ruby the size of a tangerine. The bandit had been throwing them away.
Bruce Wayne: So why steal them?
Alfred Pennyworth: Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

The average Trump supporter has a 70 IQ. The other day I was forced to listen to this old white lady talk. She's a friend of my grandmother's so out of respect I couldn't rip her head off like I would have anybody else. I'm smart enough to know she aint really my grandmom's friend as she only comes around once every 5 years to "catch up"....most likely whenever she feels guilty about her white privilege and wants to come around her one black friend on some white man's burden type shyt. My grandmom isn't cynical enough to realize it. A quick convo turned into preaching which usually happens with my grandmom and her friends. Anyway, this old decrepit white bytch kept sliding in Trump's name on the sneak tip in between her so called witnessing. How can you call yourself a Christian, preach the word of God and then say you support a dude that goes around talking about grabbing women by the p*ssy, fukking his daughter if she wasn't his daughter and inciting hatred to anyone that's not white and American? How does that line up with God? I swear dog. I never wanted to scream on someone so bad in my life. I just had to excuse myself. That's the example of the average Trump supporter. Complete hypocrite. Cognitive dissonance on a thousand. You can't use logic with them because they're not operating with any sort of logic.

I think the Singaore model would be a step in the right direction of creating a free market healtcare market.
I agree the notion that there can be a centrally managed best system is absurd, thats why its best to leave it in the hands of the individual to purchase the level of care they desire. IMHO.
This notion of collective health is absurd, there is no collective health, we are individuals, we should not be force to bear the burden of someone else at the threat of government violence.
Singapore has a good healthcare model? I have a homegirl who is living there for work. I will ask her about it

If a person doesn't have insurance or money to pay for emergency care, should the hospital have the right to turn them away from an ER for a medical emergency?
