Even still there has to be a campaign trotting out an alternative
Sadly, Democrats seem purely reactive.

Here is what I would do:
  • Come up with an alternative like you said and I don't know what the procedure is, but if the CBO has the ability to review it, let them do so.
  • At the same time, the DNC should be spending money to run ads in these shyt towns in Rural america where these cacs are about to lose their care and show Trump saying "cover everyone" along with the CBO numbers. Then present the democrat plans.
Yet, democrats at this point are only on focused on attacking the plan but not saying what they would do different.

Yup

You know there's people being paid six figures just to be consultants and strategize about hacking

There's a Medicare for all bill in the House too

Lol at this CBO estimate...

Somehow I'm still confident that the Republicans will pass it
And f*ck up the political leverage they recently got back that they've been missing for the last 8 years...not a chance.

It's a shame how much this is going to screw so many people because a part of me hopes it passes.

I honestly think Ryan and all those other clowns never in a million years thought Trump was going to win. When he won they was like oh shyt we gotta come up with something.:merchant: And this was it.:heh:
No...
This is something Ryan has advocated for a long time. Don't forget he is a Ayn Rand follower. He has talked about gutting medicare and social security for the longest and fully believes in decentralizing government to the extremes, except for the military and government providing corporate welfare.

This is his wet dream.

Ryan is just enacting what he has always want to do.

Pretty sure all reports have indicated that this bill was put together last minute.

And Ryan has always been style over substance. Still can't believe that there are people out there who aren't aware that he's full of shyt.

I wish Chris Hayes STFU up more. He grates my nerves.
I've heard this hipster f_ckboy talk more than Bernie Sanders. Does he not understand the purpose of a town hall moderator?! If I wanted to hear his annoying pundit input, I would watch his useless show.:what:

The most messed up thing is that, given that health insurance companies have to adjust prices with a deadline coming up soon for the open enrollment season, even if this bill doesn't pass, insurers are going to raise rates astronomically because of the uncertainty.

Then guess who will be blamed, Obama. Not the fact that the Republicans are doing everything to fukk everything up and therefore throwing turmoil into the insurance markets.

Sadly, this is by design.

So rates will go up, and Obamacare will be blamed, even though the direct causation is due to horrible ideas coming out of congress and their stupidity.

Let this shyt burn down, can't even be outraged about it anymore.

That would be an absolutely terrible idea. The people just realized what insurance actually is - after paying for health insurance all of their adult lives. The last thing you want to do is throw more on their plate. You campaign on never having submitted a bill that would gut 14million ppl off of healthcare. You campaign off of the reality that you are the only party to get it right.

You don't campaign on any additional proposals. Don't create a target for the republicans to hit you on.
