Yeah but what type of jobs and can they sustain someone to make a living? Alabama is still by far one of the poorest states. You can tout job increase all day but keep in mind Walmart is the biggest employer in America.
21 dollars to 23 dollars isn't a drastic difference in ability to live.
Alabama is poor compared to other states, but cost of living is lower, so you don't need much money to live well in a lot of places. A lot of these southern states with low pay that you people assume are poor have high home ownership rates.
That said I will always tout job creation, especially private job creation, over looking for handouts from the government or closed job markets in the hand of white supremacists under union guise

Breh, I'm not sure where you're from, but I'm from a supposed "union strong" state and it's no lie that these fools cut off their noses to spite their face. The amount of union households that supported and voted for Trump is staggering, a lot of them just won't admit they voted for him. Hell, right after Scott Walker signed Act 10 that broke down the teachers union I told these fools mark my words, he's going to go after all the other unions next, public and private. The Steamfitters, Operating Engineers, and Carpenters unions in Milwaukee all supported Walker during reelection and within a year after he won he fast tracked Right to Work and made it law. Unfortunately this is the chickens coming home to roost.
Im in NY. I agree. My union endorsed Clinton but a lot of the stupid white boys were Trump supporters. Not that Clinton would have been good to us but even I can say she wouldn't have signed this shyt.
