there is almost zero need to carry cash. zero. everything can be done through a phone. It’s been about 6 years since I had cash
She said she was buying a car little fella. Most people use cash for the down payment or the whole amount if it's a private seller.

you don’t need a cash downpayment for a car little fella. You can do a check little fella or you can call you bank to approve a debit payment little fellas. I have done that without cash.

You can zelle also with private seller. You should never pay cash with a private seller too

If they rob them in the bank parking lot it is insured. Coulda at least done her that favor
It’s definitely random, they just sit outside the bank and look for people walking out with envelopes.

It’s the most common crime dudes in Houston do.

No offense but this Mexican broad mad retarded. Who carries their passport with them out the house without traveling and 11k for a cash car from a private dealer is a rip off. A dealership would've taken a money order or wire transfer. Also, why a bank all the way on Washington Ave when they have mad BOA banks on the NW side.

She probably kept the passport on deck incase ICE rolled up on her. All that cash for an on-immediate purchase is dumb though.

Which kinda makes me question this story :dahell:

She had that much discipline to save for that long. But you leave all of your identification and money in your car? She seems like the type that would have it all in her purse.
When I used to work in an ice cream shop several years ago, I remember noticing that customers sometimes have to go back to their car to get their wallet to pay their food. That threw me off completely as I wouldn't even think of leaving my wallet or even my phone in the car, but there's people that do. Had me thinking that, just because you're in Sugar Land, doesn't mean people won't rob you.
