:mjlol:

We are talking about Texas A&M against Texas.

We'll get to see it in HD pretty soon. But before you play them you get LSU, and Auburn:mjlit:, and Oklahoma, and Florida, maybe Georgia/Alabama. Come on son. Welcome to the SEC.
:dwillhuh:You say this is about Texas vs A&M and my whole response was how the two teams match up, then you go on to mention a bunch of other teams.:gucci:

A&M is fools gold of a team and that will be exposed soon with or without Texas joining the SEC.

Texas A&M would have passed y’all even if they stayed in the Big 12, their 1st year in the SEC was the Johnny Football won the heisman and they won 11 games, y’all haven’t accomplished anything close to that in the last 10 season.

And how is that a lazy take? Since 2011 Baylor has 5 season with 10+ win while Texas has 1, Texas is 73-53 while Baylor 78-48 in that span, Baylor has won the Big 12 twice while Texas has none, Baylor’s also had a heisman winner in 2011 while Texas had none in that span, and Texas also hasn’t produced shyt in the pros.

I clearly stated A&M was a better SEC team when they were still essentially a Big 12 team, and they wouldn't have had the same success in the Big 12 because their defense would have been food in the Big 12. The difference in play between the 2 leagues gave both A&M and Mizzou temporary advantage that first year or 2.

And nobody gives a fukk about Baylor football. It is your opinion that they passed us but they are going to have to beg a conference to let them in. Yes Texas hasn't been very good the last 10 years or so but if you call a school a better program than us I expect they have dominated us during the stretch and they did not.

Even playing in the SEC A&M has done more than y’all the last 10 year, they have over 80 wins and a Heisman winner, and Baylor being more relevant than y’all the last decade isn’t an opinion it’s a fact, 5 ten win season compared to 1 speaks for itself.

the only thing Texas is competing for is who has the more delusional fanbase between y’all, A&M, and UGA, y’all might have A&M beat and that’s saying a lot idk about UGA it’s pretty close

Exactly, a lot of us came up in the post-SWC era. We came up in the BCS/BigXII era. I became a horns fan in the Ricky Williams-Major Applewhite era. So a lot of the pre-BigXII history and the classic rivalry between Texas and Arkansas has been long forgotten by many or not remembered by the younger ppl like myself.

Trudat. I barely remember the old SWC with those good Aggie teams with Slocum, James Brown and Mike Adams at Texas etc.

Millenials remember the start of the Big 12 and the Nebraska loss to Texas in '96.

Oklahoma rising from the ashes with Bob Stoops, Josh Heupel etc.

Colorado going from at top shelf program to getting DESTROYED by Texas in that Big 12 title game, 70-3.

Nebraska owned the Big 8 and then slowly fell apart.

Truth. Texas history started with the rise of the Big XII for a lot of us. I need to go back and do my history on the old Southwest Conference.

LOL, I guess you think that hurts someone's feelings. Trust me, Texas fans know who we are and who we have been. Texas peoples just are not arguing any of this right now.

This the time when we start getting a lot of bullshyt tweets from dudes looking to get their name out there. There is zero chance that Michigan and OSU leave the Big Ten.

None of the 3 schools have playoff appearances. Texas has played in and won the better bowl games in recent years. Your arguing wins when A&M routinely has FCS teams on their schedule. A&M isn't a better program, Baylor doesn't even need to be mentioned. But we can agree to disagree for now and see what happens going forward.

ACC doesn't care about markets. All it cares about is success and academics. It's all about being blue bloods or you damn sure better be successful. Baylor is both.
Well Baylor isn’t a blueblood and Baylor football isn’t any more successful than TCU. While the ACC does care about academics, these conferences cares about eyes and viewership more. Getting the metroplex is far more important than getting a shyt hole on the Brazos.

TCU ain't the metroplex, when I was in Dallas, it was still Longhorn territory. Houston got Houston on lock more than TCU got Dallas and Fort Worth.

TCU is South Florida and Central Florida status.

But TCU having even 20 percent of DFW is better than Baylor having 100% of Waco. That fact plus their athletic program has been decent is tempting for some conferences. Yes DFW is Longhorns, Aggies, Sooners, Red Raiders in that order but TCU is still a brand in DFW.
