Houston Rockets fans, is it time to start looking at Darryl Morey?

Damn near last in every defensive category. Up by 10 last night to almost down 30 in the second half. Multiple 20 point leads lost at home. Piss poor effort night in and night out. Kevin McHale looked like he wanted to strangle the entire team last night.

Which brings me to Morey: analytic wizard who looks at numbers more than intangibles. Anyone who watches the NBA could've told you having Harden, Lawson, and Dwight Howard, 3 of the least competitive, "cool if we do, oh well if we don't" players in the league, as your core isn't a good idea. But I guess their numbers were too good to ignore .

McHale will resign before year's end if this keeps up and it won't be his fault. Not A Rocket fan, but curious to see what you all think.

The players don't fit with each other, that's on the GM imo. Harden and Ty Lawson have been known for piss poor effort and now that they're together it's even worse.

It is when they've never been focused before. Dwight and Ty Lawson have never been the most professional NBA players.

He got all those guys at good prices when other teams coveted them. When he made those deals 90% of the coli liked them.

It's not about price it's about fit. Their 3 best players have no leadership skills. Can't put a price on that. You have to surround harden and Howard with winners and vets. More than just Jason Terry

Mchale should go too. It still don't understand how he got a coaching job after ruining the Timberwolves all of those years. And Morey building a team around 2 mental midgets is never a great idea.
