Back in '06 I went to meet up with this broad in the west in Fish trap. fukked the shyt outta her ass and everything. When I left I was pulling out in my damn near brand new car(I had an '03 Buick Lesabre in '06 when I was in high school cause I was that guy). She tried to call me after, but I told her to lose my number and never saw her ass again. I know she set me up cause it was the nikka who stayed next door to her ass who she said she been cool with for years. Aint no way he coulda beat me to the gate from they building.

Never been to Houston but I did get set up in Newark when I was in my late teens. We met on Tagged I think which should've been the first sign shyt was gonna go left but fukk it Tagged had them birds back in the day. She was short brown skin with a fat ass so I wasn’t thinking right. She invited me over and I caught one of them silver Classic cabs (Newark nikkas know) out to the Southward. I knew I had no business being over there but I was arrogant. Got to her house and started cracking.

Like ten mins in her whole demeanor switched up and she told me I had to leave. I was tight because I hadn’t even finished yet but iight bet let me call the cab and I’ll leave when it gets here she said nah you have to leave now. So now I’m calling the cab as I leave and I see this dude walking towards me from a couple houses down the block but he’s looking dead at me. So I walk to the corner because I know something ain’t right and I’m not in my part of town.

I’m waiting on the corner for the cab to show up and the same mfer rolled right up on me and asked me if I was just chillin with ol girl. I said yeah and he snuffed me. That shyt happened quick. Man I ran up in the corner store so fukking fast. I thought he was going to follow me inside the store but dude disappeared. Cab probably took another ten mins to arrive I was up there sweating bullets. I jumped in the cab as soon as it pulled up and got outta there. I wish I could tell y’all that was the last time I put myself in that situation but it was the last time anybody ever got that shyt off on me. Ol girl played dumb about the whole thing afterwards. Never spoke to her again.

In high school, some friends that lived in Planfield told a story where some dude got invited to some girls house, and the dude's he was beefing with were hiding int he house and jumped him. That was the first time my safe suburban living self learned that women could be grimey too. Well, I mean more than jus the part where you make eye contact with them in class and they be like "WELLLLL?!"

Yes. A lot of transplants and tourists starting showing up during Covid and real talk since Katrina. The number of houses and construction in the city shows that. You saw they have then 3 story condos off of Yellowstone, and OST now right by 288? Saw a WW by the bus stop the other day walking her dog and wanted to GTFOH and Tierwester a few feet away.

Went down Airport and 288 and they built a whole new neighborhood out of thin air.
