What about your Caribbean brehs.

I've notice that you really have a dislike for Black Americans. :mjpls:
No. I don't give a shyte about nikkah tribalism.

Jamaica is a small fukking island, africa is a continent. I don't give a shyte where the nikkah in charge is from as long as it is a nikkah.

Seems like most of yall don't want to be free though, you must love it the way it is now. (No, nikkah not your meaningless tribe, I mean black people in general)

At this point, most of them are gripping with massive human rights concerns, pressure from various ethnic, tribal and religious groups, corrupt outside officials, and eroding/aging infrastructure alongside a very unhappy impoverished class: they'll take whatever is offered.

Most African-Americans don't have the money to "make links" or relocate to any African state, most can't even relocate to another US city without a safety net.
Of those that can, the vast majority aren't trying to be cowboy capitalists in any of the African states, besides cultural and language barriers, vastly different lifestyle and educational differences, and it being a good distance away from their friends, families, and contacts, it just isn't all that appealing
.

"Travel" isn't an answer or a solution to be honest, other than helping prop up a tourism economy on an incredibly small-scale, it doesn't do much else.

I would love to angel-invest in potential start-ups throughout the continent, but I don't have the resources or the time, yet at least. I know that's true for most others I know.
Everything you said in the underlined bolded is pretty much dead on.Most AAs don't have the resources or privilege to travel ANYWHERE let alone to Africa which is expensive. I was just watching a video a few days ago where this woman touches on this exact topic.

I travel to African pretty frequently....I'm on assignment in Rwanda right now... honestly, I like being a positive AA ambassador because we don't have the best reputation globally. I'm thinking when I get enough resources to invest in businesses and buy a home in central or western Africa to have.

She was 100% on point, and that really exemplifies why the knowledge is so important.
This video needs to be shared everywhere.
And it needs to be remedied.

Great video, thanks for sharing.

I've been to 20+ countries and have yet to step foot in Sub-Saharan Africa for many of the reasons she's stated. I've looked at going at least 4 times, but every time, it turns into a complete nightmare trying to get the logistics figured out without knowing the landscape. Like she touched on, the only country that really seemed feasible to get to was S. Africa, and even then a flight there has been at least 2-4x as expensive as flights to Europe / Asia for the same time period.

Layer on not knowing anyone out there, having friends who want to travel but find Africa just as much of a headache to navigate through, and you're quickly c00ning it up in some other destination instead of Africa.

Now I've solo traveled in Western and Central Europe, bt I'd never do so in Brazil, Eastern Europe and other places where shyt can get dicey with a wrong turn. Same deal w/ Africa (S. Africa even).

I'm trying to go next year but I know I have to start my planning damn near now to get shyt figured out and get tix that work to go next summer / fall.

So this means the same way the US used China for cheap labor and goods, China will be/is doing with Africa?

Interesting. Sucks but China figured a way to utilize it to their advantage. We want Africa to wake up and realize their potential, but maybe a little help is needed until we find a way to get the corrupt leaders/govts out of power first.
