Some people get responsible early. I had friends in college acting like my parents. I was about 10 years behind the curve :mjlol:

Do your own thing, people used to start families as teenagers. We act like you have to be 30 now.

it blows my mind every time a sister at work or interested in me in the street ask me do you have any kids and i be like nah and they all go :dwillhuh:

then they are struggling with no help but continue to be reckless with the dudes they have up in their crib

i'm at work over hearing 3 chicks behind me between 21 to 40 talking about some lazy nikka who's not the baby fathers eating they food and not working

If you have ebt its not so expensive. Besides a lot of young people work their asses off to take care of their babies. Second job, school, overtime, side hustles...whatever helps keep food in they belly, a smile on their face, and laughing as much as they can. Kids are a blessing truly.
hell nah:stopitslime:
i mean they are a blessing but you should do everything not to have them if you're broke

Same people who look at you crazy when you don't have kids :stopitslime:

there's that weird stigma of somehow you're the loser because your not in a marriage or have children for their kids to play with
then u get shamed for being happy u have a clean record no bs relationship doing positive and have no kids
its the same as when people spend all their time talking about free someone out the system or bs and not giving you credit for wokring hard

society programmed weird

Daycare costs alone are scary.

The constant buying of pampers, wipes, the growing amount of clothes, the toys.

29, no kids. Its so hard finding a chick that dont have kids.

someone else in here said that people work over time, 2 jobs, and go to school all for the kid.
like daycare expensive and all the shyt you listed.
i feel like the entire story isn't told

i'm pretty sure there some young parents thats a success story juggling everything.
But I don't feel like that's the majority.
The thought of being the actual majority sounds scary af when im in the struggle right now just taking care of myself tryna become something.
Especially if someone got multiple kids.

32 no kids.

I want em tho.

U be seeing folks on FB smiling with they kids. and saying how proud they are to be a parent.

But behind the scenes they barely make enough money to support they kids.

And alot of parents wish they waited too
They smile in pictures
in reality the kid be bad as fukk stealing shyt smoking weed clogging the toilet fighting skipping school breaking shyt plus more all by the age of 11

The women i see on my fb for most part have more than 1. There are women who are successfully doing it but its a grind with little to no breaks because they’re not always gonna have a babysitter.

The biggest complaint i see is not always having help but at the same time a lot of them ignore that the people they ask for help usually have their own kids. If not that they’re at least working or going to school, and lastly they dont wanna spend their free time watching someone elses kids.
