What makes it worse is that there are restaurants that are absolutely terrible at making and wrapping a Goat Roti correctly. shyt is tragic
You should go to an Indian restaurant where all their food originated.

My favorite West Indian spot didn't take debt or credit for the longest, I think they started to back in 2017.... 5 years after they opened up
:russ:

The old lady who'd take my order would catch an attitude whenever I ask if they took debt like it was my fault

Facts. I’m already conditioned. If I get good service I walk right out. The ruder they are the better the food is

One time at my local spot I placed an online order for oxtails. Got there and he was PISSED. Told me to CALL and place the order because the app does not have an accurate count of his stock. He went smooth off on me.

Ok cool. Next time I called. He got all pissy on the phone because I did not just use the website he paid all this money for. Both times the food was flames :banderas:

nikkas treatin restaurants like abusive relationships :russ:

Yea Trinidad is like 42% black and 42% Indian, and I think Guyanna has a pretty big Indian population as well. Jamaica's Indian population is much lower, so curried foods aren't something I'd normally get from them. I don't even know what they'd pair it with, cause I aint never heard of Jamaican Roti.
Im Indian and Black mainly and Jamaican, we do exist from Jamaica
:hhh:

So you talking nonsense

I didn't say you didn't exist, I said the Indian population in Jamaica is much lower than Trinidad and Guyana

Edit: What do you usually pair with your curry dishes? Do you just rice, or do Jamaicans make roti?

Jamaican spots don’t give a damn about supply and demand lol

Or maybe they do and they’re feigning scarcity.

I'll be honest, Jamaican restaurant is probably lower on my list if i'm looking for Curry anything. Its either a Trini store or a Guyanese store, though it'll be chicken curry there at the latter 🤭. I'll get some jerk chicken or stew oxtail from them for sure tho

Lowkey Curry Goat is really their National Dish. And no one makes it better then them. You gotta to a Jamaican function, you'll find out. Folks stashing numerous To Go containers off Curry Goat :mjlol:
