Funny thing is how poc have been villianiized and called savage all these centuries, but watch how quickly cac societies resort to much more disgusting behavior as soon as they have to go a couple months without basic amenities or lose the ability to hide behind the dollar. Poor people been roughing it and will figure out a way, but middle and upper middle class cacs really aren't built for this type of weather.

I'm doing the same things I was doing in 2024, 2023 ~ 2011. Living way beneath my means, securing enough funding to live at least 20 years jobless, involving myself in community, spending time with family and friends, etc. The only thing derailing me right now is the only thing that could always derail me, health and this healthcare system.

Personally I'm more afraid of the political climate than I am the financial one, obviously they are linked but in the past we survived dips because politically we were stable. I just have zero confidence in this current political climate producing positive recovery in a worse case scenario
