A lot of the hate Cam Newton got was directly because of this guy falling on his face. JaMarcus set the perception on black qb prospects back and many expected (were really hoping for) Cam to follow suit, but when he didn't (and actually outshined their golden boy Andrew Luck) that's when the hate went into overdrive

The same thing happened this year with Dwayne Haskins and Justin Fields. Black Qbs are the only group where one failing becomes an indictment on others coming out for the forseeable future

Nah. He didn’t have natural accuracy. He could’ve improved it with better footwork and mechanics for sure but he was just inaccurate as fukk. He would miss open receivers on simple routes by 5 yards.
