The good thing with this picture is he looks well. The sad thing of this picture is he looks healthier and better at 36 then he did at 21. Youth is wasted on the young. I bet he thinks everyday that if he had the presence of mind and discipline now that he had back then what could he have become. I hope that doesn't plague him and he has something he's doing to live a happy life.

I knew this bump was going to be about JJ.

I have no horse in the race but it sucks for him. The media is calling to throw away the dude already. Is it that bad?

It sucks because the last two QBs did well and didn’t they win 14 games last year?

I’d let the kid play out the year. They aren’t doing shyt anyway in that division not conference. Build his confidence and hope you can get a high pick or short term solution until you find another QB. Somebody said he was trash in college as well.

Bryce Young might get tossed after the season. Hopefully the Titans give Ward another shot. Young QBs have it hard. Stroud, Daniels and now Nix and Maye success doesn’t help the other QBs case to let them cook a bit longer.

Any time a college QB is described in such platitudes as: "he's a gamer," "great leader," "does things the right way," "first one in, last one out," "tough," "has the support of his teammates," etc. without ANY mention of throwing capabilities, GMs need to RUN

I think Jamarcus had an addiction issue which is why he sucked. I haven't heard any rumors of JJ having any drugs, alcohol, gambling, women or criminal justice issues. So JJs suck seems to be organic.

A lot of the hate Cam Newton got was directly because of this guy falling on his face. JaMarcus set the perception on black qb prospects back and many expected (were really hoping for) Cam to follow suit, but when he didn't (and actually outshined their golden boy Andrew Luck) that's when the hate went into overdrive

The same thing happened this year with Dwayne Haskins and Justin Fields. Black Qbs are the only group where one failing becomes an indictment on others coming out for the forseeable future
