Jay electronica isn't hotter than J Cole? Nobody cares about J Cole music. Plenty are anticipating jay electronica's new album. Look at all the chatter about jay elec's verse on that freestyle wit hov. J cole doesn't drum up that level of interest.

J cole music doesn't get much play in clubs & parties but he's built up a big following. We need headphone music too lol. He's big with the college crowd & some hiphop heads, and arguably has the biggest black female fanbase even ahead of drake. But he doesn't have that casual fan crossover appeal so he's not a star.
