I'm in hotels bringing home 20+ plates. Food prep, etc. End of the night they throwing away all kinds of food. I grew up in poverty, you get hurt for wasting food. This shyt bothers me, just wanna know if some brehs related.

Exactly how I grew up, you sat at the table til your plate was clean no tv ,no outside,no games or that ass was getting tore up

i went to a store on Saturday and they were throwing away at least two big cages of ice cream because the freezer broke down , shyt looked like it added up to at least £300

if food if untouched they should at least come up with ways to pass it to charity

I was pretty well off compared to my peers but i always felt guilty not finishing my plates. Im pretty sure i got food poisoning last weekend because of this mindset

I hate it. Worked at a hotel after school and seeing all the food getting thrown away had me angry as hell.
Yeah I dont like wasted food..it really irritates me to see someone digging through these little hipsters' trash cans looking for crumbs and bites. That's insane.

Because that's how much food we got in the US. Enough to let it burn. Politics are the main reason people starve, not because there isn't enough food to feed him.
To add I use to work at a family owned restaurant back in HS.
Owner was super chill, anytime we had extra food from catering orders he’d let the waiters with kids take whole pans of chicken,pasta, salad home.

I just worked at a pancake House during breakfast in the burbs. These people order the big meal, eat 2 pieces of bacon & throw the plate out. I threw out the most shyt I ever have in my life, that's why I had to ask this.
Yeah breh, I do that every chance I get. DownTown MPLS I help out my people when I can. I'm just saying they threw out so much shyt I couldn't even carry it.
I grew up homeless breh. When I see another Black man starving, not of his choice, it bothers me. My family didn't raise me like that.
