same for me, my dad always made sure that food wasnt wasted
I used to work part time with temp agencies with catering banquets and functions.
I used to see food get thrown away all the time. Sometimes after us workers pack plates...there would still be good food left over. Its sad to see but I understand why they throw the food away and some not let guests and workers take food because of health and safety issues. Can't afford any of that.

I waste food. I don't have a lack mindset and I'm not a garbage can, so I don't put everything in me just because it's there.
NO. Hotels make buffet platters. Whole racks of food for banquet stacked up. 20$ plates in heaters just waiting. When the banquet over, they throw all the shyt away, Nobody touched it.If I understand correctly...you’re taking strangers leftover food from hotels home with you every night?

You telling me that you won't take it? There's steak, chicken, desert. All kinds of food. Yeah I took that shyt home.
That's why I was asking. Just seeing how much food gets wasted, damn breh.
I'm not really talking about the business, more the patrons. Why order shyt you know you won't eat?

crazy because we actually kill so much of it, just to throw it out. all those chickens 
I agree bruh. I worked at banquets that served good quality food both plated and buffet....and its crazy how people pack their plates up high but don't wanna eat it and throw it away. Same at restaurants when people order shyt and not wanna take it home. Some folks just never struggled and just too wasteful.

Hate it. I don't like wasting and getting rid of things that are useful period so that's where it comes from. I always find it corny when people get a lot of food they know they're not going to finish.
