How can I monetize my writing abilities?

Writing is about the only thing I enjoy doing and can conceivably see myself doing on a regular basis. No clue on how to make some bread off this though :patrice;

Books, screenplays, blogging, there is a million different ways breh, find what you enjoy, market the shyt out of it, get your name out there and good luck

What I did at one time was reviews. I did at least 3 every week. A lot of people noticed me in the black comics circle and started asking me to review for them and id charge them 20 bucks a review. This worked for a little bit but a lot of dudes don't wanna pay. I've written for blogs ect. The best way to break in is starting a blog and write reviews and articles about stuff you like (music ect.) You need to be consistent and create content that is in demand. It's hard though, cause the big companies have heads like pitchfork ect that already have a strangle hold on people's minds.

It takes money to make money, but thanks to a few brehs on the coli they hooked me up and supprted me off the rip. my eternal thanks.

Also you gotta write something good that people are willing to pay for. Amazon has an independant publishing arm you can do for free...
