What's the point of working hard when I can just go work for that nikka with the big ass chain and benz down the street and make more than my parents, he didn't even graduate high school.
what's the point of going to college when you can go work for the nikka with the big ass chain?
believe it or not, there are drug dealers in inner cities making more than college graduates, there are million dollar dope boys quiet as kept in Black communities all over America, the point of working hard is being able to earn money without the constant fear and paranoia of someone trying to murder you or take away your freedom, for many in inner city communities, they don't have the option to work hard because many of them can't get jobs so they're forced into a life of crime as a means of survival, not because they want a chain and Tru Religion jeans.

Rap aint inherently bad just needs reformation. Instead of being a tool to glorify gang culture it can be used to sponsor a better lifestyle

Look if you think two parents earning minimum wage can firmly place their kid on the right path, then good luck to you.
