He might have done a lot for hip hop but his first album was straight dukktales bout a life he didnt live.
and he used it to his advantage to come up. cuz everyone who really knew him is now dead or not relevant to speak on him

:manny:

How is that a problem? It's the entertainment industry, why do you expect real hip hop from a mainstream artist?

But when all your FRIENDS from before you were famous aint fukking with you for the same reason, you need to check yourself

But that's not really true... for every Jaz, there's a Sauce Money. For every Dame, there's a TyTy. For every Dehaven, there's a Clark Kent. For every Sigel, there's a Memphis Bleek. For everywhoeverelse, there's Irv, Ski, his man Emory... it's just kinda ironic that the people who haven't fallen on hard times or acted like he owed them haven't had a bad thing to say about the dude and still cool with him to this day.

I don't think most people care enough to hate. You have to be insecure to being paying attention to another person's wealth or success. During debates, people only bring up music; it's his obsessed fans that say "but he's paid though".

Because they're fatherless. Grown azz men idolizing a rapper.

They're the male version of Beyonce fans who're so enamored with that woman that they throw things at Keri Hilson on the street. You cant argue with people like that.

some of these folks live through these artists. I guess its not too late to admit rap listeners are the worst when it comes to reality. They see a rapper with a woman, their mind instantly runs to the gutter. They see a rapper with a knife and their hands covered in blood, they are quick to congratulate the artist on catching a body.

You are clearly just skimming through "those debates" then.

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
Puff Daddy, Birdman, Jay-Z, 50 Cent

is it really ANY coincidence that any time folks make it to the top that there is some sort of conspiracy about how they're snakes or shiesty? There's a saying, I forgot how it goes, but basically it says that when you are going for the top you cant be a nice guy and have to be whats considered a snake to an extent. Only difference is that one gets hated on a lot more than the others. We all know why that is though :rudy:
there are NO FRIENDS in business... this has been a saying before jay z was alive

you can't be making moves based on who you might hurt and what people will think.. the ONLY thing that matters in business is numbers

why you think these labels give no fukks.. they don't care about your great wordplay and uplifting the ghetto... nikka we gave you 100k advance, if you ain't looking like you gonna put this album out and make us back 1 million, fukk you.. sit on the shelf

let you go??? so you can make my rival some money... no no no.. you signed this contract.. fukk you..

look at the dirty shyt gates did to jobs... look at nfl owners buddy buddy with the coach, until he loses.. don't matter if you won rings with him or not... look at any company you work for.. you can make them 50 million.. the day you start losing them money, bye bye.. fukk your kids and how they gonna eat

I mean, I am not one to worship these nikkas or get into any sorts of arguments and wars over them. But how can you as a man, who grew up and watched the rise of a rapper like Jay-Z really hold some sort of grudge against him. What has he done to any of yall ? I mean Nas let the beef go and there's folks out here still riding out. Most of these State Property nikkas outside of Peedi, Beenie and Chris was never built to blow yet anytime one of em is about to slander Jay-Z people start riding. Dame Dash was an @sshole and its no surprise he has fallen but Jay-Z is some sort of mega villain.

Just because another nikka made it and you or your favourite rapper didnt it doesnt mean you have to hate. It is nothing but pure hate at this point and I never use that term. It is the only term that applies though.

I mean, the first time I heard Jigga or saw him was on the No Way Out album and when this banger dropped:

A nikka was six years old. In the ensuing years he coming up and taking over the radio with a SLEW of hits:

Then the Blueprint and Black album eventually drop. And now we have this nikka who is at the pinnacle of pop culture. You look at this dude in these old videos and tell me you saw this coming. He is at the apex and we all witnessed it. How can you honestly hate on the come up? There are rich jewish folks inheriting the wealth of their banker fathers and living off their legacies getting Ivy league educations. There are kids in Qatar driving Porsche Carerra's and Maserati's to high school cause they got lucky off that oil money. There are nikkas in Nigeria getting feti off stealing money innocent people's bank accounts.

YET WE'RE SUPPOSED TO HATE ON JAY-Z?!?!

:laff: I dont get it.

REAL nikkaS WILL TELL YOU, NOBODY HATING ON THE COME UP, WE HATE WHAT HE BECAME. EUROPEAN HOV IS SOME BULLshyt.
