2. I've said all along that control of resources and institutions is what dominance is about. In this case, white supremacy in America is defined the same way. The way to fight outside domination is to gain control of those resource and institutions or to create your own. That equals power.Because of the victories by African Americans, of the n Civil Rights Movement, all people who weren't white protestant men, gained greater access to those resources.(capital, educational opportunities, etc)
The groups who benefited the most initially , were the groups of people who were well educated but locked out of access to those resources before Civil Rights legislation ....including African Americans who were from multi generation HBCU grad backgrounds and college backgrounds, jews who were from multi generation college backgrounds, Asian Americans who were from multi generation college backgrounds.
They were the ones in best position to take advantage of the opportunities that opened up. Others not from those ethnic and educational backgrounds were the ones to benefit later.
The groups mentioned earlier have gained the control of resources and institutions that the CR laws were meant to encourage acquiring . They are still in the same system, but they've acquired economic and political power that neutralizes some of the effects of outside domination.
Jews have done the best job of leveraging their power into control.
Some would say that jews in fact dominate the system itself.
Some VERY powerful AA people and families in this country (under the radar)
Asian Americans have a lot of economic power also.

I agree with the underlined but it doesnt explain us being the threat.
Yes I understand white folks and their racism is manipulated to help the powerful maintain control.
But our exploited suffering is just as much as cog in the machine then a threat.
But perhaps its just cause the initiative to want to dismantle the machine that creates the manipulation will be strongest with the people doing the most suffering
The threat is loss of control.
African Americans can reach the levers of govt. and make changes that nullify(or at least severely diminish) white supremacy.
Asian dont aspire to or show any interest in that.

Most of it can be boiled down to history, cacs went out of their way to fukk with Africans and induce transatlantic chattel slavery. Although they forayed into other countries, the hate and utter contempt they had for us was completely different.

When "Asians" come up in topics like this, folks are generally referring to East Asians... like you said, talk to a Cambodian, Viet, Laotian, etc. They aren't included in the 'model minority' myth Whites/East Asians like perpetrate.Certainly not to the degree black people are, but many of them are victims of white supremacy. Most Cambodians and Vietnamese in America live in poverty. Don't fall for the propaganda that paints them as the successful minority that black people should aspire to be.
