I think you may be right on with Vince's line of thinking, but I think what it really comes down to is them being relucant to push talent that they haven't hand picked themselves to push, regardless of the fans voice.

Who said anything about it being acceptable? My point is there's a clear double standard in the company and whereas others get a pass for it by the brass (pun intended), Cesaro doesn't.
