Dude arguably has more talent than even Dre (he writes his own rhymes, produces his own beats and mix and master everything) worked with legendary artists (Eazy E, Pac and Snoop Dogg) and he has consistently released top quality music but I never heard anyone bring him up when mentioning the top west coast rappers of all time and nobody really fukks with his music like that except Mexicans.

I wonder if he burnt too many bridges or if he simply didn’t want to be that famous.

easy, never had a big hit. He had west coast hits but didn't hit the radio like N.W.A or Death Row.

You may have your own subjective idea of what “more talented” is. But Dre is clearly obviously one of the greatest musical minds there is. Dude was in 3 situations and saw major worldwide success in all of them NWA, Death Row, to Aftermath. To compare anyone to that is asking to be let down.

He doesn't have the family tree that Dre does. DOC, Death Row,em, 50 G-Unit, Game are all successful acts that came from under his umbrella.

Quik makes great music, but he was largely a regional act and has no major artist that came out under him.
