Boston took Orlando to 7 without KG. Big Baby of all people was balling his ass off. If Boston has a healthy KG Orlando doesn't make the finals. With that said, injuries do happen but lets be real, they got taken out pretty easily by the Lakers so why go overboard with praise. Dwight is Dwight.

I like to look at things positionally:

C: Hakeem, Shaq, Kareem
PF: Duncan, Malone*
SF: LeBron, Bird
SG: Jordan, Kobe
PG: Magic

These are the greatest players in their respective positions and make up my top 10. I put the asterisk on Malone for lack of a Championship.

The Lakers got taken to 7 by a small ball team in the Rockets who were starting Chuck Hayes at center there was no Yao, no McGrady...a team considerably worse than the Cavs are right now. Also, the first year they won the title Bynum could only play 17mpg in the playoffs, and 24mpg the next year. You're attributing way too much impact to a dude that averaged 7.4ppg and 5.3rpg in the playoffs during their title wins.

oscar has only 1 ring and hakeem only 2. other than hakeem and his dpoy award, there isn't anything oscar or hakeem have on kobe. both have one mvp like kobe. but kobe has way more titles, finals mvps, all-nba, all-defense, and scoring titles. plus he played more consistently for aa longer period of time.

hakeem and oscar have NO ARGUMENT based on their resumes over kobe. none.

no argument for Wilt being that high. he only won 2 rings and has 4 MVPs. pretty much the same resume as LeBron. don't let the video game stats fool you. he isn't above shaq or duncan. imo he's right there with LeBron and Bird in the 7-10 range.

Lakers liked playing around with their food back then. rockets were never a danger to them. game 7 blowout proves it. they just didn't take them seriously given that they didn't have yao or t-mac. see 2008 celtics/hawks. celtics liked fukkin around with inferior opponents back then as well.
