Cause everybody too fukking friendly and are scared. Just take Eminem for example, dude used to rip apart people you thought were garbage, and now he's doing songs with people who I know damn well he would've went after in 2001 (Lil Wayne, Drake, Rihanna, etc)

Because beef is a played out concept nowadays. If someone really has issues with someone, they're not gonna be making a song about it. The majority of people see beef as counter productive because you're forcing the fans to pick sides. Some people aren't comfortable enough to risk losing fans/money by stepping in someone else's beef (unless it's personal). We all saw how Meek's shyt with Drake backfired.
Right. They jump on Twitter these days.

Execs used to promote beef and put the battery in the backs' of their artists. Monica and Romeo recently did interviews on the breakfastclub where they said their labels wanted the public to think there was an issue between them and their contemporaries (Brandy and Bow Wow). I'm sure there isn't any exec today that would actively promote such a culture. They probably have to many flashbacks of dudes getting slapped and "checked" behind the scenes. That and everyone knows their bread is buttered from endorsements and shyt from major corporations. Just don't want to get on anyones bad side. Also everything is now is built on relationships trading verses, tweeting/instagramming each others shyt, putting each other on their tours, etc. Meek probably lost way more money beefing with Drake than he did had he just played the game. Rico probably would have been a hit, maybe Drake would have had him on his VFT6 tour (Nicki, plus they have a couple songs together they can perform)
