How come Matt Leinart & Mark the Sanchize never get trashed as NFL busts?

He's NEVER mentioned when talking about the failed qbs of the last 20 years.

Because he actually was on a team that accomplished some big accolades like winning road playoff games and getting to the AFC Championship. Clearly he had a great D and run game but most of these "bust lists" are guys who did jack shyt, flamed out quickly and never won anything

The only really Sanchez didn't go higher than 5th (because 5th is so low right) is because the teams picking beforehand simply didnt need a QB. If you're a first-round pick and you don't end up at the very least becoming a quality starter for some years, you're a fukking bust.

this isnt particularly true, especially for qbs.
no one thinks of brandon weeden or manziel or tebow as busts. they were all 1st round picks tho.

Leinart on the other hand is a bust. He fit that "mold" and scouts don't wanna admit they completely whiffed. They were on his dikk Junior and Senior year. He got exposed in the Rose Bowl as he looked flustered from the jump. The speed of Texas overwhelmed him and it kinda foreshadowed his NFL career. He got by because of some amazing talent at USC and eventually lost his job to an old Kurt Warner. Kurt is Kurt (a HOF) but still not supposed to lose your job to an aging vet like that and couldn't get it back when Kurt left

Was showing up to camp three bills and taking naps in team meetings if not forgetting to head into the film room. My co worker who was a fan said he plays like he's on purple drink before he even got busted with it
