Stop with this "oh he didnt go 1st overall so he isn't a BUST BUST" shyt. The only really Sanchez didn't go higher than 5th (because 5th is so low right) is because the teams picking beforehand simply didnt need a QB. If you're a first-round pick and you don't end up at the very least becoming a quality starter for some years, you're a fukking bust.

Whether u need a QB or not if the guy is truly a stud he's going #1 or the pick is being traded. If the Patriots had the #1 pick with Brady in his prime and a sure fire #1 QB was coming out they'd take him or trade the pick, a potential franchise QB has far too much value for anyone to pass on them. And if a QB has even a 50/50 shot at being a decent to above average starting QB in the league a team will trade up to #1 or 2 to take them, look at Goff and Wentz this year.

Bust also means that you were highly touted and drafted ahead of guys who turned out to be better.

You are correct though as many never even mention him. I hear his name maybe once every five years. It’s probably because Tim Couch went before him, although you never hear much about him either.
