How come Neptunes never get critisized for making simple beats?

It's more about the texture of the sound with the Neptunes.
May sound simple but hard to replicate.

I hear a lot of ATCQ in their sound, too tho.
Simple, stripped down sometimes but the fullness of sound is always there.
Plus they come from the Teddy Riley, New Jack Swing era and were in the band together so the combination of all those different elements are just..

:ahh:

Dr Dre beats are straight loops though or composed by professional musicians...

He is no where close to being as talented as Pharrel and Chad...No where...

I am not saying Dr Dre is wack, he has used some of the greatest samples in hip hop, but that's just it...Looping samples isn't that hard once you know how to use your sampler...

I don't know of any beat maker who ate off biting the Neptunes...That's proof enough that their sound is no joke..

Dre is like Quincy he hires people to help
bring his vision to life.
He doesn't have his records composed and handed
to him, he's in the middle of the process directing the
sound.

the neptunes were super influential..they were the ones who popularized not using samples for hip hop so their music had sort of like instrumental experimental electronic feel..thats just my opinion though

GOAT neptune beats:
