Failure my ass. Would it have been nice if we won more titles? Hell yeah. But failure? fukk no.

Team went 22 years without a title. Secondly, we were never expected to have a long window considering all of them were in their 30's when the team got put together. Who knows what happens if KG doesn't blow his knee out in 2009. We were one game away from the ECF that year with Brian Scalabrine playing 20+ minutes a game.

And :russ: at this Laker fan revisionist history acting like the Lakers were just some weak team that didn't have a chance when the Lakers were the favorites heading into the series.

Team always felt like they were on the brink of taking Ls. That first playoff run they went to game 7 after game 7 after game 7:snoop:

Team wasn't built for a long run, they were built to get those vets a ring or two:yeshrug: Only failure involved was Ainge not blowing it up after that game 7 loss in LA. Mind you had Perk not went down with that ACL this this thread might have a different tone:russ:

If KG don't get hurt they are playing the Lakers three years in a row shyt would of been great tv:ohlawd:

Really don't see that squad as a failure, definitely saw some GREAT playoff basketball in the Big 3 era.

2008- title
2009-blew a 3-2 lead to the magic and lost series
2010- blew 3-2 lead and a 13 point game 7 lead and lost in the finals
2011- smacked by Miami(acceptable loss)
2012-blew a 3-2 lead to Miami with game 6 in Boston.

They underachieved and choked a few series away. Sorry but their run wasn't memorable at all.
