and the TV argument is very true if youre on instagram you read it all the time amongst current raptor players...

I cant even blame em i hate canadian tv esp in the winter, who wants to be smothered by hockey,jr hockey,lacrosse,curling...Only thing about Boshs parting shots i actually understood and agreed with tv up here sucks during the season esp in terms of sports viewing...

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Here is the list of #19 picks since 2000:

2013 Sergey Karasev
2012 Andrew Nicholson
2011 Tobias Harris
2010 Avery Bradley
2009 Jeff Teague
2008 J.J. Hickson
2007 Javaris Crittenton
2006 Quincy Douby
2005 Hakim Warrick
2004 Dorell Wright
2003 Aleksandar Pavlovic
2002 Ryan Humphrey
2001 Jason Collins
2000 Jamaal Magloire

Not much expected value. A 19 overall pick probably ain't gonna do shyt so why worry about it.

9 of those guys were/are starters or heavy rotational players.

:lolbron:They didn't even show ONE single Raptor's game on ESPN last season (one of their best). I wouldn't wanna come to Canada either if you coming to get ignored by the masses and thrown into the bushes until post season come around. Then get knocked out the first round because these wack ass refs rigging games for tv ratings.

You'd be surprised how much these US cats complain about hockey being on and not having any college football, basketball and american tv in general. but the border shyt takes the cake.

They may complain about it, but it's not something that will keep them from signing here. Plus, we live in a day and age where you can watch your fave tv shows anywhere. I get US feeds here on my cable package..it's a non-issue IMO.

Border OK, that's fine. But again, that's something all athletes deal with anyways since the majority are American. I don't think it's THAT big of a deal. I still think it's culture, taxes, cost of living and even weather for some (as ridiculous as it sounds)

All those guys PLAYED and were at the very least rotation players....I will bet one months salary this brasilian kid never plays a single game in the NBA....and IF he does it wont be for several years...Not what this team needed right now...

Pretty sure I read that Masai was already saying he's coming over this year, so i'll take this bet :feedme:

All athletes? when you going from OKC to Miami its less hassle if you going from Toronto to Miami plus back from Miami to Toronto. It's the little things. and lets be honest nikkas are the first to complain and they make up the majority of the NBA. whiteboys aren't gonna complain and same goes with international.

as for tv i mean in terms of college sports and other sports that are big in the states. look at last night, the 2nd half of the draft was bumped for cfl football on tsn.

let me make this clearly the majority of black population in ontario, specifically the gta probably doesn't have tsn 2. tsn stay shytting on minorities.

Most them players even come back to show love cause they still have some connections with the city. I know Lebron loves coming here, same with Shaq. I remember when Shaq and Vince Carter would be on Rap City, Da Mix all the time chatting up with Nam about the city. T Dot is a great city. I just wish more athletes were open to living here.
