How come women do everything possible to look better except losing weight?

Back on topic, I find it crazy that fat/ obese chicks spend big money on handbags, clothes, shoes, hair, makeup etc. but won't spend 20 bux on a gym membership :mindblown:


It's especially sad to see chicks that waste their entire youth and " good looking years" from 18-25

When people consistently pig out they are usually bloated - mostly due to the sodium intake. The more fat you are - the more water weight you can carry. That's why the initial weight drop is usually a pretty big one for fatties but it obviously won't be that way consistently. That's a pretty fast result if you ask me, though. Furthermore, if SOME women only want instant gratification then why are they willing to do facials and acne treatments for months on end before any results become apparent? Nah, there is something else at play here. I think SOME women simply look down on exercise because of this disgusting "fat acceptance" culture.

Well that simply means we have different opinions for why the problem exists. You can keep asking me questions about a population I don't belong to and the answer will be the same. Facials ( something enjoyable that typically happens at a day spa) and washing your face (whether with acne medication or not) are things that people do regardless of weight and the results typically happen very fast and with very little effort.

People, in general, want the best results with the least amount of effort. This applies to why some people won't stick to a consistent diet and exercise routine.

But, to answer your question, I think that maybe they get discouraged because they're not seeing results as quickly as they would like to whereas makeup/doing your hair, nails, etc. is pretty instantaneous.

This aggravates me so much when I hear this from other women, "I've been working out but I'm not losing weight/not losing it anymore (worked out a handful of weeks, lost water weight..thought they would continue to lose at that rate)" and the famous "I'm getting big/too much muscle!" They have no understanding of muscle burning fat faster, they think they're going to turn into John Cena from some 5 or 10 lb dumbbells. So they quit. Because working out and eating right=too big but giving up, not eating right, and not exercising=just right. :dahell:

Lots of excuses in this thread. I can't even bother to shave every morning and that takes three minutes tops. But I always find time to not be a fat ass. So :camby:with "it's easier to put on make up or get nails done bullshyt" it's all about priorities. my priority is not being a fat ass and staying healthy.

they're just lazy. simple solutions for simple problems. eat healthy and exercise.

They aren't truly happy with how they look in the mirror but people are telling them they look good fat. So they say fukk it. If the entire population actually said what they really felt when they see a fat person, the fat people would either jump off a bridge eventually or start living a healthy lifestyle. :yeshrug:

I would assume that you are talking about women you know op?
Because how would you know whether or not someone plus size hasn't started going to the gym? People make assumptions.

You might see a woman and let's say she looks 200lbs. Who's to say she didn't use to be 250-300 before you seen her?

Plus women lose weight slower because our body is naturally supposed to have more fat and men naturally have more muscle.

I'm not a skinny girl but I bet you would assume that I never work out. I actually walk for exercise and I have a mountain bike as well..

You had a lot of bs in your post. First off most obese women don't workout, don't go to the gym and if they do, they still have piss poor eating habits.

Women can lose weight just as fast as men can. Miss me with that excuse. :camby: only thing men have an at atvantage over women is muscle building.

I guarantee you that walking is not sufficient enough for you to lose weight because your heart rate never gets high enough to reach fat burning levels.

And let's be real, you don't ride your bike frequently enough nor do you ride fast enough for you to shed weight.

This isn't a personal attack on you. I just know what the real Is

Here is the problem with your "fat people lose weight slower" theory. In order to keep a 200 pound body weighing 200 pounds one needs to take in a lot more calories than say - someone who weighs 130. What does that mean? Well, that means that fat people can eat a lot more than skinny people and still maintain their weight. And what does that mean? Well, there is no other way to put it - fat people actually have higher metabolisms than skinny people. :ohhh: So what's the excuse now?

You do know there is plenty of people who are thin and in terrible shape?

I just had a class with a girl who was model size. Does not work out at all. She used to be in the navy and she told me. She could barely get through basic because she couldn't do push ups and sit ups.

It goes the same way for skinny people.i have known people who were tiny and said they used to be huge before. But by an ASSUMPTION I would have thought that they were always like that.

and no it's scientifically proven that men lose weight faster. I wasn't using that as an excuse because it isn't. I was just stating facts.

You don't know how frequently I ride or how fast I ride.so don't tell me what you think you know about me.

And for your info I have no problem working out since u think u know what women do. I struggle more with eating the wrong kind of foods.
