@LastManStanding Kamara and Ingram have more to do with the success of the saints than Brees.

Their significantly upgraded DVD also helped.

Drew Brees puts up similar numbers every year. :youmadcam:

fortunately the regular season MVP award doesn't mean shyt due to media influence and the real MVP award that matters is in the Super Bowl (which Brees already has:sas1:), but for the sake of arguing :yeshrug:

Kamara and Ingram are doing incredible things this season, but the Saints FINALLY having a solid defense is why they're where they're at. For years it was typical every week for Brees to put up 350 yards and 4 touchdowns and still lose the game by one score because the defense was ass.

like others have mentioned the NFL is a QB league. Kamara and Lattimore will both win offensive and defensive rookie of the year (Lattimore likely defensive player of the year as well), but to disregard what Brees is doing simply because he's not having to throw 6,000 yards this season is silly. he's more efficient and accurate than ever and will have career low interceptions.

Brees 2017 NFL Rankings

Completion Percentage -1st (will set NFL single season record)
Completions - 1st
Yards Per Attempt - 1st
Net Yards Gained Per Pass Attempt - 1st
QB Rating - 3rd (could finish as high as 1st tomorrow)
Passing Yards - 5th (could finish as high as 2nd tomorrow)
Touchdowns - 10th (could finish as high as 6th tomorrow)

it's not Brees's fault that the Saints have had historically bad defenses and a pitiful run game most of his career. he's had 5 good teams in 12 years, yet he has single handily kept the Saints in contention every year. Brady has top 5 teams every single year that even went 11-5 the year he missed due to injury.

stfu and stop being a homer for a second
going by your logic the award should still go to wentz
gurley desrves the award

brady coulda been injured all year and i guarantee that the Pats would still have 11-12 wins and Jimmy G would have similar stats to end the year. how valuable are you if your replacement can get the same job done? Take away Gurley and the Rams dont make the playoffs period

you are basically saying having a great back up is brady's fault. :patrice:

and you don't know how rams would've done without gurley. and gurley did play last year and rams were crap. maybe the real mvp for the rams is a young cac coach. :jbhmm:

Kamara and Ingram are doing incredible things this season, but the Saints FINALLY having a solid defense is why they're where they're at. Brees was robbed of the MVP trophy in 2009 (and arguably again in 2011).

It's more about the teams success being because of the upgrades at other positions and not Drew Brees doing anything extraordinary.

It's not a knock on him, but he's just doing what he does and has done and the team has been up and down despite him being consistent for most of his career.

But you're right about the awards the other players will likely receive as consolation even if not fair. Gurley will probably win most improved if he doesn't win MVP.

Why I don't think he deserves MVP.

Dude leads all RBs in rushing yards, rushing TDs, rec yards, and rec TDs :scust:

But we all know it’s gonna go to Brady even though he’s been straight ass for like the last month. Who the fukk decides the winner of this shyt anyway?

RBs have to have astronomical/historic years for it. In fact, any non-QB position has to have a year that basically was not fathomable prior to that performance in order to have a chance.

That said, Carson Wentz has a stronger case for the award than Brady (and this thread wouldn't exist had he not torn his ACL), and if Seattle makes the playoffs Russell Wilson should win the motherfukking MVP in a landslide.

Considering what Gurley (and the Rams) were last year and what he/they are this year, his case is better than Brady's in my opinion. The best Gurley can get is Offensive Player of the Year, though.

Lol...

Rob Parker said last year Brady should not have any consideration for the mvp because he missed 4 games, two weeks ago he said Wentz should be the MVP even with him missing games...people just want to deny Brady that award, like that time he had a better year than Cam but Cam won it...lucky for Patriot fans, Brady dont care bout not MVP as long as he is playing in the last game of the year

Brady did not have a better year then cam wtf are u talking about

It’s Brady MVP. Best Player on the Best team. Leading the League in several statistics categories. But I know how the coli feels about the GOAT. He’s not about MVP he’s about championships. Let Gurley win it, he’d rather have the Lombardy.

Hes not the goat stop calling him that

After watching the clincer that the NFL is fixed for the patriots.
We are all basically suspending belief and basically watching this award and the superbowl erroneously to brady.
Like I almost started rewatching week to week.
Then that patriots Steelers shyt basically put me right back to this bullshyt fixed after the Superbowl. That it is no need for me to even try to fake suspending belief. Might as well just Wait for the year that Brady is hurt somehow for the league to allow anyone else to win.

League is fixed or has the racial ambiguous based outcome or you fail. After the seachickens played racial ambiguous games and gave away the bowl the patriots who cheated anyway. You might as well just wait for Brady to retire cause this shyt fixed for those cheating ass patriots.
