fortunately the regular season MVP award doesn't mean shyt due to media influence and the real MVP award that matters is in the Super Bowl (which Brees already has

), but for the sake of arguing
Kamara and Ingram are doing incredible things this season, but the Saints FINALLY having a solid defense is why they're where they're at. For years it was typical every week for Brees to put up 350 yards and 4 touchdowns and still lose the game by one score because the defense was ass.
like others have mentioned the NFL is a QB league. Kamara and Lattimore will both win offensive and defensive rookie of the year (Lattimore likely defensive player of the year as well), but to disregard what Brees is doing simply because he's not having to throw 6,000 yards this season is silly. he's more efficient and accurate than ever and will have career low interceptions.
Brees 2017 NFL Rankings
Completion Percentage -1st (will set NFL single season record)
Completions - 1st
Yards Per Attempt - 1st
Net Yards Gained Per Pass Attempt - 1st
QB Rating - 3rd (could finish as high as 1st tomorrow)
Passing Yards - 5th (could finish as high as 2nd tomorrow)
Touchdowns - 10th (could finish as high as 6th tomorrow)
it's not Brees's fault that the Saints have had historically bad defenses and a pitiful run game most of his career. he's had 5 good teams in 12 years, yet he has single handily kept the Saints in contention every year. Brady has top 5 teams every single year that even went 11-5 the year he missed due to injury.
