not extraordinary compared to traditional standards. david johnson did the same shyt last season. was he mvp? was he even close to mvp? edgerrin, mjd, portis, holmes, larry johnson, bell, arian , mccoy etc have all had these types of seasons. didnt sniff an award. for an rb to win, you have to be historic. hes not. its as simple as that.
Nobody is having an extraordinary year this year.

Brady wasnt better than Matt Ryan by any measure last regular season even if you account for the games he missed

But as far as this season goes passing numbers are down this year due to injuries and just overall regression. It’s one of those years where we have to remember that all MVP seasons aren’t created equal
Brady had a 28 to 2 INT ratio and won as many games as Ryan while missing 4 games. So...no.

Do you not see how ridiculous you sound? So let me get this straight, a guy who was tearing up the league cooled off so now someone who didn't start doinng shyt until 6 weeks ago is the MVP? A guy who would be one of the least impressive MVP RBs over the past 15 years? LOL@worse than Cam Newton as some sort of arbitrary barometer. Brady is the MVP, stop it guys. Gurley is being brought up just because there's no one else because Wentz went down. All games count the same. You're acting like Gurley is Adrian Peterson throwing up 200 yard games to take it from Peyton and singlehandedly putting his team in the playoffs.

You guys sound clinically insane. A nikka just said Cam has a btter case than Brady and that Wentz is MVP even though he missed games when Brady was better than Matt Ryan last year and didn't win because he missed 4 games :dead:
Lol...

Rob Parker said last year Brady should not have any consideration for the mvp because he missed 4 games, two weeks ago he said Wentz should be the MVP even with him missing games...people just want to deny Brady that award, like that time he had a better year than Cam but Cam won it...lucky for Patriot fans, Brady dont care bout not MVP as long as he is playing in the last game of the year

Matt had a higher completion percentage, higher QB Rating, TD percentage and yards per attempt, while facing a tougher schedule with a worse defense so.....yeah.

NE did get the ultimate prize though so there is that.

A moody Michigan nikka...

Caping for Brady...

Corp me surprised....

Put the stats up.

Your argument is that the last 6weeks for Gurley shouldn't matter but we should overlook the :flabbynsick: of Brady...

You're an attorney. You're better than this. :childplease:

It’s Brady MVP. Best Player on the Best team. Leading the League in several statistics categories. But I know how the coli feels about the GOAT. He’s not about MVP he’s about championships. Let Gurley win it, he’d rather have the Lombardy.

You said Brady was not better than him in any stat. That is wrong. Ryan was not even the best player on his team. Julio was. But that's another discussion. Matt's tougher schedule amounted to playing teams with a 49% winning percentage overall versus 45% for NE. That's not all that much. Moreover, that is overall team numbers. Brady showed up in week 5 and played: The Seahawks, Dolphins, Steelers, Ravens, Cincy, and Denver. All of those teams are better on defense than those teams Matt played with winning records (he did play the Broncos). Other than that, all those teams were awful on defense: Tampa (twice), New Orleans (twice), the Chargers, we saw what happened to GB in the playoffs, the 49ers? The Panthers were trash last year. Come on, Let's not be crazy.

Matt was 15/28 for 1 TD versus Denver. Brady threw 3 TDs against them. It was fairly obvious all of last year that Matt Ryan benefitted from other teams having down years defensively and having all that offensive talent on his squad. He has not looked the same this year because everyone bounced back. He's not worse than last year.
