How did Black politics fail the last 50 years post civil rights and voting rights act? What should we have done better?

Gotten into A.M radio and other platforms to talk about politics , just like republicans been doing .

Have the black version of rush limbaugh but pro-black , to increase black people’s interest in politics . No reason southern states should be solidly red .
Smartest take yet. Our people were easily bamboozled by charlatans like Tariq who told them to vote against their own interest or not vote and the uneducated among us ate it up. It could work with a cooler version of someone like marc lamont hill. It will take time like conservative talk radio did but it can work.

We tried that. We DID that. And White Supremacists burned it to the ground.
I got 2 months on WW2 and the holocaust in high school, 2 paragraphs on reconstruction and Jim crow …intégration also brought miseducation

If it’s spiritual to you, let it be that.

Read the first principal.
Understand it.
Practice it.

Until you try it and experience it, you won’t understand.

I get this is troll/dapfish/pile on territory so I’m not going to respond after this. I’ll let y’all enjoy the jokes and continue doing the same things and expecting different results. True Alchemy is changing YOURSELF by changing your thoughts and your perspective.

Civil Rights Era negroes saw MLK get killed, and got access to cac stores, schools and p*ssy and gave up when they had the country by the balls. They should have continued MLKs vision and rode for reparations. The CRA and integration didn't cost anything. nikkas fell for access, a pat on the head and symbolism.

Do you realize you sound just like delusional women who say they will manifest the outcomes they desire? No real effort, no real tangible methods on how to resolve issues, just pure fantasy.

Here, let me leave this here for anyone who wants to know what you are talking about and determine themselves if it is "Philosophical woo".

So please, tell us how any of those principles translate into the tangible actions and outcomes needed to better 44 million Black American outcomes here in the US. Are you going to manifest the solutions for us, like the resources, finances, and land needed to accomplish this oh "Great Magician" following in the path of Hermes Trismegistus (an amalgamation of Greek Hermes and Egyptian Thoth "KMT Tehuti for those who know his more true name")

No. That ship has sailed. I’m Americanized at this point. So are my children. We’re generations deep in this system now. I’d be lying if I said I hate it here. I dislike some things, but overall, I’m happy with my choices and my life.

I guess where my thinking starts to veer off from a lot of our people is, I have no hope that things will ever be ideal. There’s no Utopia where everything is going to be perfect for us. There will always be a trade off. To gain some things, we will have to sacrifice some things. To enjoy the American lifestyle you have to accept the bullshyt that comes with it. To move somewhere else and start over, you have to remove yourself from the place and people that made you who you are.

I think what most people are truly angry about is their place in the hierarchy. I know a few rich black people and they don’t complain much.

I can’t do this with y’all. My understanding of what limits us as a people has shifted from where it was even 2 years ago. I used to think like a lot of y’all. I don’t anymore.

Start with the 7 Hermetic Principles and work your way up from there.

I legit used to think it was all talk, but it’s reality. I had someone SHOW me how things really work and when I tell you it’s you and only you who controls your reality, you can take it or leave it.

:hubie:

I get what you're saying.

I only want a stronger ADOS/FBA middle class. That's about it. The other stuff like racism and the negative outgrowths of racism like poverty and the negatives that come with that can be stymied if we have a stronger middle class.

And to get there requires a more robust, stronger, modern ADOS/FBA political grass roots movement that isn't shy about who we are and what we want. No intersectionality, no fighting other group's battles, we are singularly focused on our collective uplift.

No. If you don’t understand what I’m saying, I’m ok with that.

It took me almost a decade to understand it myself. Because much like you, I wasn’t ready for the information. It seemed like some bullshyt to me. I used to get pissed off at people for suggesting that I was somehow in control of my reality.

When you’re ready, the first 2 minutes of this video will make sense to you. Good luck.

Started with boomers to generation x to millennials to what we have now

Black folks love to be integrated with whites, want that white product, that white restaurant, that white clothing, live next to whites even though whites are running away from you..

Martin luther king had his own dream to be integrated and a lot of negros wanted to also

What Dr Claud Anderson say” Martin was rounding everyone up and wanted to march to integrate the suburbs and a reporter ask Malcolm you hear about MLK having a march to integrate the suburbs and Malcolm said thats not a march thats a parade and every parade you always have Clowns leading the way “…he said let them leave but we only want the resources so we can build our own thats it..

the last 40/50 years has been a disaster for black people as a whole and at this point it’s going to get worse because nobody need us for nothing..

Asians already ahead of us even though they have less population and Hispanics population is at 20%

All them Asians and Hispanics are staying quiet and building they own communities in which we once had and they making sure they spend their money in they own communities first before running to white businesses

We get our checks on Fridays and immediately run to white businesses and burn that money in less than 24 hours

And look at these generation x parents,, motherfukkers are worse than the kids they raised with this bullshyt

This is not going to happen anytime soon and probably not ever

Middle class now is ppl making 100k plus, and im probably being generous, its like 150k+ (at least in large metros)

Those Black ppl will be the opps to anything youre suggesting

The people who you think are going to benefit from their being more of a middle class, I.E broke Black ppl, are too distracted just trying to survive and with entertainment

And even if conditions become bad enough that ppl stop getting distracted, politicians will jump in to herd ppl to where they want them to be

Best thing you can hope for is a working class movement that's not solely tied to any race

We are never getting 60s era Black revolutionary shyt again

Most ppl dont even have knowledge of it, hence dumb shyt like im more Malcolm X than MLK

:russ:that is never going to happen there is a reason why you have right-wing billionaires buy up both old and new media companies.
