Most women will cost you some type of money...especially in the beginning. Most guys are barely making it, now add in the cost of food for 2 people when that guy usually just eats a $2 frozen burrito or top ramen for dinner.

I feel you on that, that’s why my momma always said don’t bring in anyone if you can’t even wipe your own ass. That bold part is the truest.

My thing is this, you def need to understand savings as a person first and then try to find someone who has the same mentality of finances as you. Because if you don’t there could be real trouble down the line when you start to create a family. If your girl is worried about going after marquee brands and you’re making for instance $15 an hour and you have bills to pay she probably needs to be more realistic with her expectations on you. But that takes communication on your part as well. You don’t need to tell her how much you make but you do need to set a precedent. Only a weak man will let a lady ruin his finances. This goes both ways tho let’s not get it twisted.

Brehs... that’s why you need to find a real one when you’re broke or climbing the ladder to success. I had one like that and I messed up.

Now that I’m single and established, I’m between a rock and a hard place. Women my age or older either come with baggage (emotional or children). Younger women see the car, house and clothes, and they want to be spoiled.

It’s rare to find one with balance. I have zero problems treating a woman well that I’m serious about. But not these high maintenance ones that just can’t chill at home.

Well its a social expectation for men to be the providers so men tend to and are expected to break out that wallet.
