How did Migos avoid becoming the next Ying Yang Twins?

Migos style makes them unique in the fact that for the modern day, it's more or less "their" style.

Plus the tone of their 3 voices and skill level is unique within their little group. It means each of them is gonna have their own little fanbase. It's gonna stretch out their longevity.

Yin Yang was a novelty act that was riding a wave. They switched it up with The Whisper Song and bounced back a bit when they was falling off.

But when the wave they was riding subsided, so did they.

I actually bought this album. Only liked one song.

But overall talent seperates them and being ahead of the culture. These are nikkas other rappers tried to be like.

exactly and another person using numbers to shyt on ying yang while not even knowing they had two plat albums. i feel like then it was harder for songs to chart cause people were still buying them where as now streaming counts towards a songs chart position.
